Overall this was my favorite Mid season finale out of the 4 since the ante was up throughout the episode and not just a small portion.
It was nice seeing them all in a casual setting, celebrating and just being normal. I feel like the show had more of that back in the day. Also nice to see Donna again though not enough of her and Quentin. Once I found out it was Rene who sung like a canary to Watson, it wasn't that surprising since he has always been the black sheep of the gang I feel like. I understand where he was coming from but he didn't have to keep it a secret for as long as he did and I am pissed that they didnt feel it was important enough to show him/Watson on screen. He really looked like an ass though trying to defy Oliver after all of this, if it hadnt gone down I wouldn't have minded him doing what he does in the field. If Oliver had just listened to Diggle and confronted the team head on they wouldn't have lost everyone but I see Oliver fell back into his usual "Im the boss so what I say goes". And then he had to place doubt in Diggles mind at that lol....lord have mercy. I was really itching for a brief Dinah/Oliver throw down but it wasnt hard to be on her side of things when it came to this whole "spying on your teammates" when it came to Diggle. He out of anyone should've had her back. We FINALLY get some backstory to Black Siren this season...took long enough. Quentin dying when she was so young would definitely change things for the Lance family and I want to see what ramifications it had. What did Dinah do afterwards? Is Sara on E2? Gimmie that origin episode! But I was glad to see a bit of remorse from her when it came to talking to Quentin and that she let him go, though I wonder how she will swing that with Caydon or if they will just ignore it. The team breaking into Argus was fun, I like undercover missions in general and think the show could use more of them. Vigilante makes no sense, last we saw him he was all "I want JUSTICE! Justice with blood!" and now he is on team bad? Hopefully this Legion of Doom works as good as Legends did. |

Lance seems to think of Oliver as a kind of son, or the closest to it he'll ever get

I'm so behind. Life is so busy right now. I haven't watched this or Flash yet. Tomorrow hopefully with my morning coffee.

The first 10 minutes ❤️. I can’t wait to see more of Dinah/Vic together and what they’ll bring in the scenes.

After MG and co have tried to beat us over the head with "death has a meaning again" I can't get behind Vincent being Vigilante. It was such a lame cop out.

I watched the entire crossover event, but between what's going on with my life and exams, I didn't find enough time to sit for a few hours and post about them (it was great, especially the first two parts of it) Honestly... I didn't like Oliver in this episode. No, definitely. I also felt he was a little too OOC... reminded me how strange he acted in the season that included Ra's Al Ghul as a villain. Diggle kept a lie, not worse than Rene's secret, but a HUGE lie, even that was risking his team's fate, and although Oliver was mad at first, but then he was able to let it go and he understood his partner. Now he can't do the same with Rene? Do you think Oliver wouldn't have been in conflict if he had been in the same situation? I don't want to see this kind of Oliver anymore. He is a tough person, he has darkness, but he doesn't act like this. All the villains are working together? what is that? I hope it is good... I thought there was going to be more development for each villain. Vigilante is a villain too? I never imagined he would work with Cayden James. The season started very good, but this episode is kinda bittersweet. The thing that I most enjoyed from this episode was seeing Felicity's father (and the moment between Quentin and Oliver in the celebration of the wedding). I wish he was back for a few episodes. __________________

i realized i never posted in this thread.
Bad Crystal. I enjoyed the episode. I actually understood where everyone stood. Oliver was harsh but Oliver doesn't trust easy. He trusted the team and you know it hurt him beyond anything to know that the trust he gave them ended up coming back to bite him. However, can anyone fault Rene for doing what he did. He was scared and Agent whats her face his like a dog with a bone. Plus she gave him a chance to get the one thing back that he has wanted for so long. Yes, both Oliver and Quentin were working on helping rene with getting his daughter back. Yes, Oliver gave him the job(as wild dog or helping in mayors office) that pretty much showed Rene he could be better. I would be mad at rene for that reason but at the end of the day he admitted it. He stood up and said it was me and this was why. He wasnt willing to let Dinah get the blame and he was ready for the fallout. I was proud he owned it. Also we go great back story for Siren and what happened to her father. SO that was very pleasing to me as well. oh, and i do feel they are telegraphing Thea leaving with Roy. She was hoping he was the old friend that would have shown up to the wedding. I'm sure other stuff happen but i can't recall now. __________________
