^ I'm not working right now. I took a year off so that I could deal with my health issue. Now it looks like my year off is going to be extended for another few months.
  I'm mostly recovered from my last surgery. There is one complication that I have to deal with first, which is why I'm on meds. Once that's taken care of, then I'll have my surgery and I can find myself a job.  __________________

oh wow that sucks that you have to be off that long. is your insurance covering all this ? I really hope these surgeries and medications are helping you in the long run

^ Yes, I am covered. I feel fine on most days. I'm just worried that that's going to change soon. The effects of one of the meds is going to wear off in a month, which means I could experience some very serious symptoms. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that those symptoms don't pop up again. It was a very scary time for me and my parents. I don't want to go through that again.
   I am positive that the surgery will help me in the long run. It's just getting there that's going to be the challenge.  __________________
