so yesterday my laptop died and I had to go out and get a new one. I forgot how expensive computers are. my old one was pretty old though. I went from a HP to a MacBook Air. I feel like a fish out of water. this is a totally different operating system. I'm so not used to this set up at all. its taking me a while to get used to this. but it is synced to my phone which is cool. I have 14 days to decide if I like it or to exchange it for something else. my 13 yr old niece has one similar so if I have questions I can ask her for help

I'm sure you can figure it out. All you have to do is play around with it as much as you can. Oh, it's good that you have a source you can rely on if you need help using the new laptop.

yes im glad she can help. I need to find out if there is a way make the font size bigger the text is super small on here.

everything is set up different on here even the keyboard is different . I gotta learn everything from scratch all over again. I have 14 days to decide if like this one or if I want to exchange it for something else

^ I know how that it. It took me a while to get used to the keyboard on my PC when I first bought it. It was a strange feeling to have a 'flatter' keyboard. Is there something specific that you're going to look out for that will help you decide?

well like when I go to copy/paste stuff when I type [url= I have to hit a space first before hitting paste or else it will erase the = its a lot of little things that annoy me that I just need to get used to or find a way to get around

also I gotta figure out how to save my favorite sites again on here. I don't know where a bookmarks are. and every time I get a new email the email pops up overtop the website im currently reading which I find annoying too

^ Ah. You mentioned in the 3-Word Post thread that you can take classes for using the laptop. How strongly are you considering it? It sounds like it would help you a lot. =)

when I have some free time I do plan on taking them. I have to look on their website to see what classes they have and when they are available. they are free too

Since I finished my meds on Saturday, I was expecting my doctor to give me the all-clear for my surgery. He told me today that he wants me back on my meds because he wants to make 100 percent sure that I'm good to go. This sucks! Going back on my meds means I won't have my surgery until April.

oh man sorry to hear that. well April will be here before you know it. hopefully the meds will do its job and you will be all clear by then

^ I know. Waiting is just so frustrating. I've been dealing with this health issue for a year-and-a-half. When I think it's going to be dealt with, something comes up and I have to keep waiting. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'll get the all-clear in April. I feel like my life is on hold until I can have the surgery.
