^ Ah, Marcel and Rebekah would definitely be the perfect keepers of the werewolf cure.

Klaus trusted them both so much, and the fact that they would be together would make it easier for them to keep it under guard until it was needed.

^ Exactly! After a thousand years of Klaus intentionally and unintentionally thwarting every attempt Rebekah made to capture some happiness for herself, his final wish was for her to get what she wanted. It was the greatest gift Klaus could have given Rebekah.

even if she's got say 80 years before being able to take the cure, she'll still have her century with Marcel or more like 150 years
