^ And even if you put aside the fact that Klaus trusted Rebekah to take care of Hope, let's also remember that Klaus knew that Rebekah had always wanted a child of her own. I think Klaus giving guardianship of Hope to Rebekah was a way for him to give Rebekah what she had always wanted.

Well here goes again cause of stupid internet going out and my post being lost

I really liked the scene at the end when Rekebah realizes that Klaus knew what had to be done where he knew that he had to sarcifice himself in order to save all of them

so he knew about what Freya's spell was going to do

The trial has me thinking whether or not that the spell took over or not from the sheer fact that Rekebah had called Hayley - was it the sheer shock of what happened to Klaus that shook her to her senses or was she enough in control over the spell to realize that the only way that Klaus was going to come out alive was to have something like the "fate worst than death"

Things are kind of fuzzy about the second half of season three, since I've paused my re-watch for about a week. I'll have to get back to you about what Rebekah knew or didn't know in the season finale.

I am really looking forward to their first face-to-face moment of season five.

Do we know if they at least stayed in touch during the 'missing' seven years they spent apart? I can't remember.

Well it certainly seemed throughout their thousand years being alive

that Rekebah always ends up being there for Klaus even if she fights it at first. She will always be there by his side

^ Rebekah's willingness to always stand by Klaus' side is a constant. She did it when she was human. She did it when she became immortal. She did it when she loved him. She did it when she hated him. I think Klaus knows that he'll always have Rebekah's strength with him, no matter what.
