True!!!! In the end it all comes down to Hayley... Well, I was the first one to say that TO was just an excuse for her to get her own show, and the Originals were just patsy to bring in more viewers, didn't I!?! Now I can gloat with a big fat "I told you so!!!"
Not even gloating makes me happy about this

Let's got back to Klaus/Elena scenarios... that makes me happy

Well, I was thinking Klaus could come back in the series finale and he and Elena would relize that they always loved each other and run away leaving Damon, Stefan and Caroline shocked.

Whoa! I could get behind this possibility. I've seen stranger endgame pairings than these two. =p Elena was the most important person to him for much of season two and three, was she not? He did everything he could to find her and keep her safe/human.

There's just something about the fact that Elena knew how dangerous it was for her to go to Klaus for help and she knew that she would have to give him something to get him to agree, yet she did it anyway.
