For some reason, Phase 2 felt like way more movies than that to me lol. Captain America: The Winter Soldier is easily the best movie of that phase (and still the best CA film) and it was great to be introduced to The Guardians of The Galaxy. We need a Phase 3 thread too lol.

The problem with Phase 2 is that it should've been more about the title of this thread.
HYDRA rises, SHIELD falls. See, Phase 2 should've been about Baron Zemo taking over the reins of HYDRA and assembling the Masters of Evil to counter the Avengers.  Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, and Wonder Man could've started off as members of the Masters, joined by other villains like The Absorbing Man, Moonstone, Blackout, Crimson Dynamo, Abomination, Titania, Executioner, Enchantress, Klaw, the Fenris twins, etc. The "Crimson Cowl" would be Zemo's silent partner who always remains hidden in the shadows, only to be revealed later on to be Ultron, the artificial intelligence Hank Pym created years earlier who has taken on an armored battle robot form. And, of course, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, and Wonder Man would later join the Avengers and Phase 3 could deal with the Ultron storyline. Oh, and Hank and Janet should be in the Avengers as Ant-Man and Wasp, and I honestly don't give a  what Edgar Wright was planning.  Scott Lang isn't important and Hank and Janet are.__________________
