I'm finding it hard to finish my rewatch of Jessica Jones. I'd forgotten how much misandry was in it. I don't think I'll be seeing season 2.

Indeed. And I thought I'd found a show I could really like, but there's too much in the way of nasty undercurrents in it.
Well, I've still got Luke Cage. Added later: Now that I've finished the season I feel a bit better about it. The last episode (13) is much than the second-last (12). The show jumped in quality once Rosario Dawson appeared. She's great. And Jessica is a great character, the show just has serious issues. Whether I see the second season or not is a decision I'll have to make when it comes out or after. I'm just glad I finished it for now. Now I can get to my rewatch of Luke Cage, which is a much healthier show, if a bit less well-made. __________________

Season 1, yes, he's the creepy stalker/rapist villain.
Started my Luke Cage rewatch. It's better than I remember it. And Mike Colter is so good in the lead role. Some factoids about Mike: His brother is in the US Secret Service. Viola Davis is his second cousin. He trained in boxing, put on 30 pounds of muscle for Luke Cage and is six foot three, so he's got some qualification for the physical side of the Luke Cage role. One of his favorite shows is Game of Thrones. He played Will Smith's tragically-slain father in the third Men in Black film (the one where they go back in time). __________________

Tennant will be appearing in season 2 in some capacity. I think it might be flashbacks.

Still rewatching Luke Cage. It's such a good show and Mike Colter is so good at portraying the fundamental decency and integrity of the character.
