Thanks for the news. It's almost too late to write a whole new script anyway. They're supposed to start filming in early 2019. A new script would have just been rushed to get it done soon.

I'm not holding my breath but I still hope they rehire him. Some people also brought up it's hypocritical of Disney to fire Gunn cause they hired RDJ as Iron Man even after his extremely messy history. They got a point there.

i saw this item on twitter that said Marvel was considering a new GOTG team comprised of Thor, Rocket, 20's-something Groot, Nebula, Valkyrie, and Korg + Meik .i'm supposing this was in case the Starlord Team decided to walk out in support of James Gunn. i wonder if there is any truth to this story...

Even though Dave Bautista threatened to walk out if they don't use Gunn's script, I have doubts the other casts would follow suit...they are all contracted to appear in GOTG3, so it would be a nightmare for Marvel if they have all these actors threatening to be released from their contracts. I don't think they would do that, if they all do threaten to leave there could even be lawsuits drawn. And wasn't it already confirmed that they will use Gunn's script afterall? So I guess that means Dave Bautista won't be leaving, and if he's not leaving then I don't see why the others would want to.

well, this is bad. GOTG3 was supposed to be the film that set the tone for the Cosmic Universe, and all framework going forward, according to Kevin Feige. of course, he said this a few months before this fiasco. i wonder where we go from here, in relation to how the future shapes up after [still untitled?!

As of today I keep seeing posts about more delays for GOG 3 .
skip to 15 min mark the show starts off with discussion of delay till 2021… YIKES Bradly cooper asked if he would direct , he said no if I don’t write a screenplay I won’t direct Add In it is possible Dave Batista May be replaced or killed off … __________________
