"I was in the generation of Kirsten Dunst and Natalie Portman, a little bit younger, but none of us were dealing with that, the way young stars are (today). Watching it snowball into what it has become today, it's so disturbing."

Macaulay has made the headlines countless times over the years, from being arrested for possession of marijuana to revealing he slept in the same bed as Michael Jackson after sexual abuse allegations surrounding the singer came about.

The Lost in Translation actress makes an avid effort to keep her private life under wraps, especially regarding her marriage to Frenchman Romain Dauriac and their daughter Rose, born in 2014. But even when in her husband's home country she can't go unnoticed while out and about.

"People in France are just as crazy about movies as any other place," she reasoned. "It's probably a similar reaction as in New York: People in big cities are involved in their own thing and (not as) totally starstruck as if you were in a more rural place. (But) fans are fans everywhere."

True about that article! Some celebs love interacting with fans and some prefer being more private about their personal lives. They should do what they feel comfortable doing

Agreed would love her to be on IG but it's her life and shd feels like keeping it private

And then they were almost never pictured together so it didn't even seem like they were married.

Same, Eva Green is also very good at this in fact you never know who she dates at all idk how she does it because when you are so famous it's almost impossible to keep your dating life a secret but Eva successfully does it
