Sherlock has surprised me before. I nearly fell off the couch when he apologized to Molly so...there's hope I suppose.

I think Mycroft would be more willing to show happiness. It seems to me that Sherlock is the deciding factor in how their relationship is...

That's pretty much how I imagine it.
But you're right that Mycroft will probably react according to how Sherlock behaves. Unless he knows already, which I'm convinced he does.

The more times I watch the episode (most specifically the end) the more I"m convinced that Mycroft knows as well.

Unfortunately not. I guess it depends a bit on what happened to Moriarty's body. It would be proof, wouldn't it? Or they would just accuse Sherlock of murdering Richard Brook.
