You always hope for a happy ending, even in real life, so it's kind of interesting when you're told "this won't end well" you still want it.

I liked the ending because often happy endings feel unrealistic and forced. And it would feel inappropriate if they ended up together despite all the misery.

What was your favourite cute/fun moment between them? My favourite is the IKEA bit. It was so cute and hilarious.

I don't know if I have a favorite moment between them, I really don't know if I like her... Like you said, we knew since the beginning that this wasn't a love story, so I automatically seen her as an enemy, although with the passing of the film I realized that the enemy was him and his stupid ideas of love. The film is a bit like their story: they tell us that it is not a love story but we still hope in the happy ending, and Summer says to him that she is not looking for love but he has still the nerve to get angry when she leaves him...

So my favorite scene is.. I don't know.. Maybe when she goes to him during the storm, maybe because that's the only moment that she could be inlove but it's also the moment who ruined everything...

I think one of the few people who actually liked Summer and didn't think badly of her.

The IKEA scenes were really sweet. My favourite part was:

They say opposites attracked but this movie clearly showed that doesn't have to be true. They shared some interests but over all they had different views on life, love, relationships. They wanted different things. I guess that if Tom met Summer at a different time, they could have worked out but when he met her she wasn't ready to commit yet.
