I wanted to go see Evanescence but nobody wanted to go with me so I sold the tickets. I am planning on seeing Haim in Amsterdam though. For some reason I am reluctant to go see Evanescence by myself in Brussels but I am fine with seeing Haim by myself in Amsterdam. That city just does something to me.

How far are you guys from me again? Like 400km? Oh there is this Dutch travelling organisation that arranges your trips by surprise. So like you book a vacation but you don't know where you're gonna go. This month's theme is meet you halfway. I don't really know why I brought this up.

2 years ago I booked a group trip (with people I didn't know) and ended up in Prague. It was amazing and so much fun. "sigh:

We went to see the Kelly Family and Gil Ofarim, so we've unofficially dubbed this the "teen nostalgia week"

I used to be so scared of going to concerts alone but I actually quite enjoy it from time to time. You can really just get lost in the music and forget everything else around you When is the Haim concert?

and as an over-planner and over-thinker that company sounds absolutely terrying to me I need to know every detail of my trips weeks (if not months) in advance or I'd go insane

Oh my talking about nostalgia.

The Haim concert is June 18th if I'm not mistaken. I love going to concerts alone actually depending on the band/singer. I started doing it about 10 years ago when nobody would join me to go see Simple Plan. It was either that or missing out on the concert so I went by myself and had a great time. I want to go see Steps (being supported by Aqua and Blue) in the UK in May but that one is again a concert I'd rather not attend alone. Also I might get lost in the city and end up getting murdered.

I'm a Gemini so we are hard planners and want to do it all. So for me, going on an unplanned trip is the best because if you let me plan a trip, I'll end up lost in all the planning and I feel like I am missing out on so many things by getting the feeling I am chosing the wrong things to visit. So I simplified traveling for me. I just look for cats and lesbians in advance and all the rest is improvised once I am at my destination.

Nostalgia is the best. My little sister commented on it the other day. She doesn't get my nostalgia streak. She finds it odd and is only on what's to come. I don't get it. Why not cherish and relive the old days, right?!
