I remember hating her in the first episode... and then I fell in love. She's such a bitch most of the time, yet she's somehow so endearing. Please add me!

Welcome everyone! Oh I love Mary for many reasons. I know a lot of people hated her the first time around but I've always really loved her.

I agree with what people have said that Mary has probably grown the most out of any of the characters. You just need to see how she acts in the first episode of the series to the news of the Titanic and then watch the Christmas special. Plus first season Mary probably wouldn't have tended to Matthew like she did during the war.

I agree. She's definitely changed in s2 and it's noticeable. I think she changed after that Pamuk experience. She was kinder, still a bitch but that's Mary and we love her.
