I really lost it when Violet was crying. It was nice of her to be at the ceremony but at the same time it was upsetting to see because it was supposed to be a romantic moment and William was dying.

I didn't cry but I was sad. I was hoping that she will live but amongst those that got sick, she was the one who looked likely to be killed off, unfortunately.

Well, I knew that someone was going to die because they don't make people sick for nothing

I knew it wasn't Cora (I was spoiled

) so it was either Carson or Lavinia. It was weird because she didn't look sick at all at first and Cora was the worst one

I sort of knew that Cora and Carson weren't going to die, at least probably not that way and not that early. Lavinia did look to be the one who didn't suffer the most and yet the flu claimed her life and hers was the worse. It's sad to have her killed off but people won't miss her that much as obviously she's an obstacle to the happiness of M/M.

Well, Idk, she knew that something was going on between M and M and even if she was so in love with him she wanted him to be happy so she would have let them be together in the end. It's true, I can't say I miss her but it is very sad

It really is sad that she'll probably not marry Matthew because of this. If she had lived, they won't work as she'll see Matthew's still in-love with Mary (and vice versa). If I was Lavinia, I'd walk out and never speak to Matthew but she isn't that type of person.

That's what I was thinking too, they should at least share the same cell (which is of course not possible).

Also, did you like Violet's storyline/scenes in S2 more than in S1 or was it forgettable for you?
