Cops: Stop right there!

Sutton: It’s complicated. I found something out, and it’s maybe the first thing I can’t share with you guys.

Sutton: I have to take this.
Char: Sounds like family stuff

Yes. I think there was something going on between Sutton and Thayer. That look behind Mads back after Sutton says Thayer is like her brother. I think not! Plus the casual way she says she has talked to Thayer a couple times, when we now know he was helping her in the birth mother search.... Hmmmm.

I hated the way Sutton kinda poked fun at Char, and needled her about her mother, and then tried to upset Mads about Thayer. Sutton was always trying to put people at a disadvantage.

Yes, and that made people kind of uncomfortable around her. I think people were more afraid of what she could do to them if they weren't nice to her, than really wanting to be nice to her. Notice Mads cool reception of Sutton when she first gets back!

Emma: Wait, you found them?
Sutton: I don’t know, there have been a lot of dead ends til now. But here is the problem, this lead, leads to Los Angeles.
Emma: So you want me to go to LA?
Sutton: No. I’m going to go to LA, and you’re going to stay here and cover for me. My adoptives would never get this. They would just freak out and blow everything.

That scene is one of my favourites from the pilot.

Poor Emma, she must have been so shocked when Ted asked her who she is and what she has done to Sutton. And then her practicing in front of the mirror. That scene was hilarious.

Loved her impression of Sutton.

Hi Kat! Nice to see you.

Yes, I loved that scene of Emma experiencing Sutton's life for the first time. She was so lost, without a clue of what to do... didn't know how to open the door with the keypad lock, grabbed the plant her mom was dropping, but didn't know where it went, walking into Sutton's room and seeing how nice it was.
I did love that little scare of Ted asking who she was and where was Sutton. That's the only clue we got that Ted might know about the twins, except it turned out to be a joke. Still, it was really obvious that although no one suspected Emma, everyone noticed that her behavior was different from Sutton's
And yes, that business where Emma was praticing in front of the mirror the inane chatter she thought of for Sutton, about things she had no experience of at all - was hilarious. Think of it, Emma would have no idea of designers, fashions, Paris, luxury cars, or even any of the everyday people/things Sutton must have talked about with her friends and family.
