Well, will the story be done then once Emma finds the killer? It seems like we have eliminated a bunch of suspects already, but there are several more that need to be cleared. And I assume they could throw in some more characters in the next two books?

Yeah, I'm sure they'll throw in some more characters in the next two books till the murder is revealed.
I do hope the murder will be revealed in Book 4 though, because otherwise the murder story would just be dragged on.__________________

Shoot, now I didn't remember that, and I can't think about Char, except there is some mystery about that, cause the person in the picture on facebook said Char's dad, Emma saw on that first night, but Char's dad was out of town. And then Emma saw Char's dad and it was someone else. It is all confused in my mind, but there was a mystery there. Anyone else remember?

Sorry, Lynn! I wonder that, too, Holly. I wonder if it was too intense to bring into the show, but Alec is pretty verbally abusive on the show, so maybe that evens out.  |

It's probably part of the trick to keep the story different so the audience can't guess. Alec is probably not a bad guy on the show, and in the book he is. They lightened it up to make him suspicious but not criminal.
