You guys have been on a posting spree today!
Somehow, Ethan will tell her everything about what happened at the ranch, and maybe Emma will understand that it really was nothing to Ethan. Oh I know. Ethan needs to take her to the ranch to meet his dad! His dad has to find out it isn't the same girl and figure out that Ethan really loves Emma. And that Sutton was just trying to mess it up! That is a loose end that needs to be tied up! Ethan's dad needs to clear things up! But somehow, I think he will like Sutton better. Just not for Ethan!

I think Ethan just needs to explain the situation that sutton basically took advantage of them being up there alone.

What happened wasn't really that bad, or unexpected. Emma suspected him of sleeping with Sutton, and might have forgiven him even that if he could convince her he loved her and not Sutton. But the lie, and the timing of the reveal hurt her feelings badly!

When she gets time to think about it, she will have to consider the wisdom of breaking up such a serious relationship without even giving it a chance, over a kiss that was a mistake. People make mistakes, and when they are trying to protect others, they make even worse mistakes sometimes. I don't know whether Ethan was protecting her from further hurt, or himself from the risk of losing her when he didn't tell her about the kiss right away, and lied by saying she knew everything there was to know. But he couldn't live with a lie between them, which I think is a wonderfully strong argument for forgiving him.

If Ethan had given her the same speech he gave Sutton thinking she was Emma, Emma would have been satisfied. Just as Sutton was devastated to find she meant nothing to Ethan.

Right now, Emma is just frustrated, and fed up with Sutton, and wants her gone. Emma doesn't want to be with Ethan wihile Sutton watches, and since Sutton is hanging around Ethan, Emma doesn't want him to come around, causing Sutton to be there too. Emma and Ethan haven't had much alone time since Sutton got back have they? Except the opportunity to break up. Blame the writers Emma, not Ethan!

They made it kind of obvious that the two really love each other. And the crime was a small one - a kiss, immediately regretted. So just as the only way to keep the Sutton lie from coming out was to have Ethan totally avoid Emma, the only way to keep them fighting is to not tell the full story of what happened. Eventually it will come out. I hope.
