THE PAGEANT — Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) return to Mystic Falls at Sybil’s (guest star Nathalie Kelley) request as she is still in search of the historical artifact. Bonnie (Kat Graham) returns from Paris wearing a vile of Enzo’s (Michael Malarkey) blood making Caroline (Candice King), wonder if she will become a vampire. Stefan, Damon, Caroline, Bonnie and Enzo all attend the Miss Mystic Falls pageant where Sybil continues to taunt Damon with memories of Elena. Going to be interesting to see everybody dressed up again and in this kind of setting after 8 years.

I enjoyed the episode.

Didn't expect Bonnie to bring up the cure, though. But it wasn't a surprise that she isn't considering becoming a vampire.

I liked that we heard her opinion about it. But i dislike how disconnected she is from the Main Plot. All this talk could have happened in any episode they (Bonenzo) were not needed here.

Yeah, I disliked the first scene with her, Caro and Seline. Caro did all the talking with Seline and gave her opinion on Seline's request, while Bonnie sat there and said nothing. To top it off, Caro stood up and left after she had said her piece - and then Bonnie just stood up as well and left too, again without a word. Bonnie was not needed in that scene. Ugh.

But I liked to hear Bonnie's opinion on (not) becoming a vampire, especially that it really was about her not wanting to become one and not about Elena. I mean, she brought Elena up in her conversation but I did not get the feeling that this was what mattered to Bonnie. It felt more like a convenient excuse, if you know what I mean.
