Except for Switched at Birth, I've never seen any of these shows so I probably couldn't make a good recomendation.

Paula, I loved Parenthood. I think I cried through every episode of the final season.

Downton Abbey was the show I most enjoyed that was not fantasy/sci-fi. It has romance, but also heartbreak.

If you love family dramas and exploring family relationships, I highly recommend both thirtysomething and Six Feet Under.

"The Arrangement" premieres Sunday on E, Bravo, and USA. Check your local listings.
An aspiring actress probably gets paid a lot of money to marry a famous actor. My guess is that in public, she has to play the adoring wife but at home, she probably has a separate bedroom.
The premise sounds interesting but, whether the show is any good or not, remains to be seen.
