Thanks for posting that link - I'm always interested in new Bay/Ty stuff.

BTW, I am working on a music video for Bay/Ty. I've got the song picked out and I've slowly started working on it. It's taking a while, since this is my first music vid, but so far I'm fairly satisfied with the progress I've made. I'll post it whenever I get it finished.

I agree with this. To have Emmett be the one to tell Bay would honestly be pretty contrived or at the very least, shoehorning him into the plot that he has no true involvement with.
I also want MB to be involved because it gives Ty a plot outside of Bay and gives more background to his character. And like you said, MB has ties to both Bay and Ty. Emmett doesn't have any ties with Ty anymore.

I too wish that we could have gotten into Ty's head more. We saw a little of that during the camping trip and again in the last episode, with nothing really in between or before that. It certainly would have made the whole fake-cheating plot easier to understand.

I suppose we'll just have to wait until season 3A ends to really grasp what the writers are going to do. Although I can imagine that if possible, they'll want to draw out a love triangle if they can get BR to stay on for most of 3B. After all, romantic drama=ratings. I can jut picture Bay and Emmett getting to a good place, and MB calling Bay to tell her that Ty's been seriously hurt and that he never slept with Aida. Then having Bay being confused over what she feels and drawing this out for as long as possible.
Or some plot like this haha. I wouldn't mind seeing Bay help Ty recover despite having conflicted feelings regarding him. Maybe they'll finally get back to arty Bay and seemingly art-interested Ty. I'd love to have them bond over her art during his recovery.

Just spitballing some ideas here. I'm probably waaayyy off.

It wouldn't feel contrived to me, nor would it feel as though the writers are shoehorning him into the plot.

I watched the season finale again today, and I paid close attention to Mary Beth when she promised Ty she would not tell. I am not sure that she can break that promise. I could see it in Mary Beth's eyes that keeping her word means something to her. She lives by the same code as her brother. That's why Mary Beth could not understand Bay asking Ty not to deploy.

But Mary Beth will have to spill the truth to someone, because she is human. Travis will be the obvious, safest choice for her to share this burden. And Travis is living with Emmett.

Someone NEEDS to tell Bay. Whether it is Mary Beth, Travis, or Emmett, someone needs to tell Bay the truth. It makes sense to me that it would be Emmett, because Emmett really does care about Bay and her happiness. Emmett would want Bay to know the truth, and Emmett did not make any promises to Ty. He would not be breaking his word, like Mary Beth.

I see it differently. Emmett grew up with Ty. He was Daphne's best friend, and Ty was like Daphne's big brother. Emmett and Ty know each other well.

There are lots of options for Ty to have a plot outside of Bay, though. Daphne, Regina, and Emmett all knew Ty before Bay ever came into the picture. Ty could interact more with all of them.

I am surprised Ty didn't interact more with Daphne in Season 2B. It would have been nice to see.

That's an excellent video! It makes me glad that Bay & Ty had a second chance this summer and reconnected. They did share some special moments, and you chose a wonderful song and highlighted their moments beautifully.

The one thing that still gives me some hope is that they keep posting pictures of Ty on FB. Could that be a sign? They certainly don't do it with Jace. I would still like daphne with Emmett and Ty with bay in the end.

That's interesting. Perhaps it is a sign. Yay!
I really do think that they want to stretch out a dramatic love triangle between E/B/T. And they also seem to like the idea of having a vet suffering from PTSD as well (even if they didn't really focus on that part so much). So they do have a lot of... investment in the character. Much more than Jace who I still don't quite get the point of having on the show.

Either that or they finally noticed that no one liked Jace's smarmy butt and the poor plot that he and Daphne had.

Yesterday they had Ty on FB twice plus they asked what the favourite couple is and there are a lot of people rooting for B/T.

We are not alone girls!!!!
