Yeah that bothered me.

And I agree- she should have shown it to them first and then later with an audience. It was cool that everyone was around but it needed to have been more personal.

There's always something in the way, never any time to just be a family and do those kinds of things together.

Like when Emma discovered the file- I wish that her parents had been with her instead of Hook so they could have seen it too.

They continue to push the family to the wayside and they have since Emma broke the curse and I've always hated that.

I agree. I honestly thought that after such a big deal was made over Emma accepting her parents in the finale, we would have more family scenes. The date prep and after questioning were cute. But that has been it for Emma and Snow. Emma and Charming have at least had a couple of conversations but even then what could have been a great father and daughter scene on her rescue in 4.02 was turned into a CS scene instead. (I neither ship nor anti ship them so just making an observation). I know Ginny hasn't filmed much but they managed to film scenes with Archie, Will, Regina, and Leroy/Happy/Granny. Some of that filming time should have been used for Snow and Emma or more scenes of the entire family.

And I'm the same about CS. I just want Emma to be happy and if Hook makes her happy then fine. Still I wish we'd have more family moments.

What drew me to the show at the beginning was the MM/Emma stuff in S1 and then it was like, Emma broke the curse okay let's just forget all of the confiding that they did in S1 and have them be strangers instead.

Sure Ginny doesn't film much because she had Oliver and all that but still, at least use what scenes she does have for something more positive like getting to know her daughter.

I really miss Emma-Snow moments as well, so I really hope we're leading into some with the Snow Queen wanting Emma to be her 'new family'. It certainly has the possibilties for a lot of Charming family stuff with that storyline.

Yeah I agree.

And can you imagine how the past might feel for Snowing considering that Emma spent 6 months with Sara/Ingrid/Snow Queen which according to Emma was the longest time she spent in any one foster home.

Ahhh S1 way back when..

There are a lot of things I like better now, especially the fact they know they are mother and daughter but I miss their sharing scenes together.

Well, I can't say I'm surprised. We all saw this coming.

I hope we get some lovely scenes in fixing all this emotional mess, because ow :(
