I agree with you about not understanding why build up the relationship to ignore it. I am really hoping for a good mother and daughter scene. While I understand that they are showing us how much Snow is haunted by losing Emma by having her fixated on not missing anything with Neal, I want to scream pass the baby off to his father and go spend some time with your other child who still needs you. Emma has been an emotional basketcase as well these past few episodes. They really need a girls day at the spa. Or at least a conversation where they can support each other.
However I am not sure how the baby dream scene was blase towards Snow. Henry asked the question and they provided answers that a 12 year old boy would enjoy. As a mother of boys, the youngest of whom is 12, I found it hilarious because it was so true to life. A scene lije that happens almost daily at our house with my husband and older son answering our youngest like that, while I stand there like Snow saying it isn't true and their pointing out they were joking.
