Hi I'm back to cause trouble :D just kidding. But I would love a good debate because I just realized what has bothered me so much with the Snow and Emma relationship post curse, besides the lack of scenes. I mean really.

But I know it's a popular theme in the fandom to hate/blame Snow when it comes to anything having to do with Emma because she's the mom and in social norms it's the mothers responsibility to make everything right for the children.

It really bothers me that Emma never stands up for Snow when it comes to Regina. Emma has never helped or protected her since the curse broke. She constantly has sided with Regina over Snow, and all I can think is why are you siding with the woman whose tried to kill your parents and made you an orphan. Then I thought ok, she saw Regina kill Snow in her back to the future episode, and she's never once tried talking to Snow about it? If I saw someone kill my mother I would have serious talks with my mom and try to be with her more.

I don't like that within the fandom we fill like we have to "protect" and "coddle" Emma, like we can't call her out, we have to say oh she has her walls but I don't agree and like it. It's ok for Emma to side with Regina over Snow, but if Snow would side with Regina over Emma believe me people would be having problems.

We definitely need more moments with these two. It never seems to be enough. It was their friendship that drew me to the show in the first place so it would be nice to get back to that.

That gifset is nice. I keep thinking that Emma's flashbacks about not having a family and the reveal of the Snow Queen as a foster mom would have been so much more poignant with present day scenes of her and her mom (and dad) had been in the episode. I can't believe there wasn't even one with that theme.

Yeah, that scene is just heartbreaking :(

Forget the SQ in the video for a second- I loved this moment! It was too brief and I would have loved more scenes but oh well.

Still Snow getting to see what her daughter looked like as a teenager was just so monumental! It's sad that they didn't get the chance to expand on this. The look in Snow's eyes, her tone of voice, it was all so perfect despite being so brief a moment.

That moment was the best part of the episode. But way too brief.

It was. I wanted way more than what we got. We need more scenes of them talking about Emma's past.

And they didn't even show David's reaction at all. Emma should have shown the video to her parents alone.
