Which tells me that Zelena has her own psychological issues. Actually, I suspect that she might be worse than Regina or Rumpel. At least the actions of those two were motivated by the loss of loved ones. Zelena's motivations seemed to center around being envious of someone she had never met before. That's just a bit . . . too distrubing for mere envy.

I loved their dynamic in this episode. I'm still not entirely convinced that Zelena was telling the truth, maybe she isn't Regina's sister. I know there's 99% chance that she is, but why did she need Regina's blood? Maybe to get into Cora's crypt because she's not really related to Regina.

Anyway, she probably is her half-sister and I don't dislike it as much as I thought I would (if she's Cora's firstborn, that means all kinds of plot holes and retcons). But I loved their scenes and I can't wait to see what Zelena's planning to do and why. She said that she wants to take everything from Regina because she got everything Zelena wanted, but this can't be all.

It's kind of funny that Zelena is so envious of Regina who had such a crappy life. Zelena wants everything Regina never wanted.

Hm. But didn't Zelena say that Cora had her before she wormed her way into the ranks of royalty? To me, this sounds like it was during Cora's days as a Miller's daughter, and before she met Rumple and became Rumple's student. Zelena was likely given up due to how poor Cora and her father were but that is just a guess. I think it is possible that Cora had already had her firstborn when Rumple came to her with the deal. I'm going to take a guess and say that Rumple probably uncovered this later on after Cora chose power over him.

Also, if I am not mistaken, I believe it was Rumple's idea to change the terms of the contract to it being his child she would give him and then Cora agreed to it; however, she was not the one to suggest it be changed. So, I would probably find it unlikely that she hid a pregnancy from him while he was teaching her since she planned to be with him up until the moment she took her heart out and chose the power over love - marrying Prince Henry.

I was originally speculating Rumple as Zelena's father but now with the estimated time frame of her birth, I am having my doubts about that. Of course, this is all dependent on Zelena's information being accurate, of course.

What I am curious to know is what led Rumple to abandon Zelena for Regina in teaching magic and his choice for casting the dark curse? Wonder if he taught Zelena first, or was he teaching them at the same time?

I've been thinking about that comment that Rumple made to Regina in the episode "We Are Both". Rumple told Regina that "she was not like the rest of the family." At the time I thought he was just referring to Cora, what if he taught Zelena before he got to Regina.

This is my timeline of Rumple's involvement with the Mills Women:

1) Taught Cora about magic

2) He found out about Zelena, taught her about magic. (Quit teaching her for whatever reason)

3) After he stopped teaching Zelena about magic, he had a vision about Regina being the one that would cast his curse and he started looking for her.

Another comment he made was that "Regina was portable". I wonder what he meant by that.

^ I was not referring to their blood relationship, I was referencing the time frame of the birth and if Zelena really knows all the truth about all the details pertaining to it. This could include knowing the identity of her father.

@ baelfire24 - Rumple told Regina that he already knew her, that he held her in his arms. When he mentioned her being more portable, he was talking about when she was a baby. Portable was just referencing her size, as in small enough to hold and be carried around.

I am going to guess that he taught Zelena first as well.

I'm looking forward to her backstory being revealed, and I'm sure that whatever episode is coming up with young Cora will explain many of the things we've been wanting to know.

In "The Miller's Daughter," we saw that "The Miller", himself, was a lazy drunk. I'm sure we'll find out more about him, but it's fun to speculate who he might be or how he might be related to everyone else. Cora clearly had a lot of family problems before she created royal family problems. If Cora became pregnant while working as nothing but a poor daughter, the interactions of her father (or even her mother?) might become more important to the story.
