Normally I think that baby storylines are borne out of desperate writers trying to find any way to keep a story going, but I actually think a Rumbelle baby would be completely different...and I felt this way even before Rumple became the DO again. Eventually I'd like to see him deal with his being mortal again ..as well as the age gap; surely he'd be concerned about dying well before Belle and leaving he and his burgeoning family alone? That would be so realistic, so emotional........and Bobby/Em would kill it.

I think it would be a lovely storyline for Emilie to do, I just hoping that it doesn't go the way of Snow and Neal, tbh I didn't think that was well written, so I've got fingers crossed that this will be better, if they decide to have a pregnant Belle of course

I have hopes because they didn't have to write the pregnancy in (if they did); they could have just had Belle go to the UW. Now maybe she wouldn't have if she wasn't pregnant anyway, but I don't want to think that because that would suck lol.

I think Em would love to do this storyline; Belle will clearly be a wonderful mother - we've seen her with baby Neal several times, and it's so touching....

Have you thought of any names for RumBelle's baby? Even though they don't call the cup "Chip" to my knowledge, I think Chip would be cute if he is a boy. I heard someone mention that Rose would be a wonderful name is she is a girl and I agree

I used to like Rose, but to be honest, I'm not fan of it anymore...

I like Catriona (which is a Scottish version of Kathleen).....but also Claire which relates to light. The problem with Claire is that I can't help thinking of Em's character from LOST, lol.
I also like Abigail and Isabella.....

Boys? I have a harder time with that....... Logan? Cameron? My favorite boy's name is Justin, but I don't think it fits..

I still like Colette for a girl, or maybe one of the names of the two spinster that raised Rumple.

I like the idea of a Rumbelle baby, but, if they consider input from the actors at all, I don't see it happening. Robert has said he didn't want a baby storyline, or, if they do, not until the end of the series.

No offense to Bobby (who obviously I LOVE), but he doesn't get to have input on this.....He's a professional, he'll deal with it if he still feels that way. Also, even if he still doesn't want one at this point, it would be incredibly awkward to make his views known given that Emilile is pregnant, not only his co-worker, but maybe even a friend ...... In any case, when he said that, it was 2 or 3 years ago and he really just didn't want Rumbelle to settle into some sort of boring home life. That's guaranteed not to happen at this point, lol....I'll bet he actually thinks it could be an emotional storyline now and potentially powerful since Rumple is the DO again and it's almost a re-do of Rumple's S1 story except he has the chance to do things right.

In any case, I'm glad the subject came up because I just thought about this..

Belle is very likely going to believe Rumple is gone forever (when he returns, months will have passed in SB), so I believe she's going to want to name the their baby after him. Imagine the tears falling as she researches baby names....

Possibilities:

Boy: Ramsay

Girl: Rae (Grace) or Rhona ( Appearing in Scotland as a name in the 1870s, Rona may derive from “rough island”, the name of an island near Skye. It may also be an anglicization of Ragnhild, or a feminine form of Ronald or Ronan.)

I was actually thinking of names having Germanic origins given that Rumplestiltskin is a German name, but I liked the Scottish ones better, lol.

I DO think it would be cool if Bobby and Emilie were asked for their input.....
