Always good to see more Killian Jones and the past.

He was a pirate, Captain Hook version back then, so he did things only thing right now that makes it even more worse is its Charming's dad

But he didn't know it at the time he killed Robert, and Killian also didn't know the entire time he was helping David. That matters in the story.

His realization after August hands over the story pages is when Killian realizes it was him.

I love this story.

Apparently, Hook didn't return to Neverland until a few years before Emma's birth. Someone made a blooper in this episode.

Yep thats when he realizes it, its those pages is where he makes the connection.

His behaviour this episode was alot to do with how concerned he was in how Charming saw him, and saw him more worthy then just a pirate and then boom this happens at the end, as he realises.

There is no way Hook would of even asked Charming for Emma's hand before if he knew... too much guilt and self loathing he would feel. Colin is very clear in his acting to bring out the emotions even when he doesnt say anything

Yep, and Killian is clearly ashamed by his past, and afraid he won't be accepted. This will bring it right back to him to confront. Killian needs to come to terms with his past as well. He needs to forgive himself for his past deeds. In order to do so, he's going to need the heroes to forgive him first, and it's going to be that much harder because it's someone they know.

This is going to be an amazing arc for Killian's character development.

I think the fact that giving his killings back in the past a face and name that happens to tie in with the family he cares for and the woman he loves, takes it to another level

Yes, it makes the stakes really high, and at the most pivotal time in his life. He Has difficult choices ahead, and there's no easy way out for him.

Definitely and it puts him smack right in the middle of this arc. One with Charming, One with Emma and his own... and Gideon arc because he is after Emma.

I think the fact that this comes up now just when he was going to proppse, it heartbreaking but something good has to come out of it or some healing to him and to Charming.
