You know, I've totally accepted the Regina and Daniel met as children backstory as canon already and to the point that I would actually be shocked if this is something the show would later on refute. But yeah, I'll pretty much take anything. Since they said there's still a lot of Cora backstory to tell, though, I'm even more optimistic that we'll get something again in the future. Either with them as children or with Barbara Hershey as adult Cora pre-1x18.

Yes. If Barbara Hershey comes back and she does a flashback where Cora is not in Wonderland we have a chance to see Daniel too!

One of my favorite fandom moments of season 2, in retrospect, was finding out that Noah was filming for ONCE again. It was so unexpected and it all came together in such a great way, piece by piece, with Lana's friend posting that pic of the Storybrooke Stables location and then Noah being spotted by a fan in Vancouver just a day or two after, followed by the Twitter madness when fans said they'd seen him film in Steveston, but the pics only showed what I guess was his stand-in in costume... and then, finally, that super cute and adorkable pic of Lana and Noah with David Anders from when they went out together one night after filming. So exciting, I loved every second of it. And I wouldn't complain if something like that happens again next season with Noah and/or Barbara returning to the show.

Has this been confirmed at the Upfronts already? Aww, sucks. Six episodes will really just be barely enough to wrap things up and give the show a nice send-off. But at least they didn't just cancel it last season and the writers will get the chance to give it a proper ending. Just too bad for the cast since they have to try and find new projects while the new tv season is already well on its way.

I expected something between 10-13 episodes too, but I guess that was a little too optimistic. But hey, this could at least mean no scheduling issues if Adam and Eddy want Noah back on OUAT later on next season.

Hopefully, it completely comes to pass. I'm a bit curious how they'll tie in 'flashbacks' with the characters adventures in Neverland next season, though. Like, how will they tie into what is currently going on?! How will some of Cora's backstory tie into this? Hm.

I hope they do not write it so that as long as the main characters are in Neverland the flashbacks will be only Neverland story....

^ Well... that would suck, IMO. There will probably be lots and lots of Neverland (which I still have mixed feelings about), but I don't think it's going to be all we're getting for as long as Henry's gone and the rest of the characters have to team up to find and rescue him. I could see how flashbacks to Emma's and Regina's backstories could work while they deal with Henry being gone.

Like, I don't know, Emma's could pick up after she found out she's pregnant and lead up to making the decision to give the child up for adoption and Regina's could then obviously deal with her first couple of days as Henry's mommy or something. Enchanted Forest flashbacks could be harder to weave in, though. I'm not sure how they're going to make that work either.
