That's not what I meant. Jared is 17 and Henry is what 13 or 14? If the other guy is supposed to be 28 and the story is basically about him meeting his TL, the mother of his 11(?) year old daughter, they are almost certainly going to use him for flashbacks of the time they met her. It would be weird to have Henry (in flashbacks) change that much in just a few years.

No, I don't think we have any idea how old he is when he meets her. It's only because of Emma, that I think he'll be 28. The actor is 33.
