I think if he went there, he did it in the first 1-2 years. A few years later and he would have felt like he did in Manhattan, that it was too late and that Emma would never forgive him.

He looked so miserable in the season 2 premiere when he got the card. I wish he could have had more hope then maybe we wouldn't have had to deal with Tamara.

I know. He didn't have much reason to think Emma still had feelings for him. I just think the story would have been better without Tamara.

I don't see any way to make this work for Emma and Neal, but has anybody else ever read the Griffin and Sabine books? There's a pair of probably pre-destined lovers. But, when one travels to the city where the other lives, they seem to be in the same apartment at the same time without ever seeing each other.

I can kind of imagine a story like that for Neal and Emma, although I'm not sure how it would go. It seems like something more important than the two of them constantly not seeing each other should be happening.
