It depends on her fake memories and the experiences she made during this time. Didn't her boyfriend work for a villain? That probably didn't help.

Emma in s4 has made a lot of progress in my opinion. She wanted to trust her parents and she saw the best in people more, she still struggled cause Gold wanted her dark for ink and other stuff. However, I felt she had made progress in regards of her trust issues. Not that all might change now that she harnessed herself to darkness.

He was a flying monkey.
She did like her life in New York minus Walsk that in 3b she wanted to go back to it. It wasent until she went back in time she realized she missed her parents and Sb was her home. I think that help her overcome some of her trust issues Plus she trusts her parents to remove her darkness that's big |
