LOL I can't decide.

Love the one in Manhattan because Emma still went with Neal even though she was mad at him. She could have just left and let it be the end of it but she didn't. She went willingly.

And I love the first because of how their relationship all started which was cute for a rif-raf sort of way.

Sorry, I meant, from each of the two pieces, what moment is your favorite? Like for me, it's Neal's "You're definitely a car thief." And "You can keep yelling at me when we get there" along with Emma stumping her foot.

I guess in terms of dialogue my favorite from that flashback would have to be:

"I said I was sorry."
"You didn't actually."

And the second one would be:

"I am not having drinks with you!"

ATM I am writing chapter 6 of 'One Heart'. I've got chapter 1 going for the latest fic, and currently have writer's block for 'Haunted' so that one is on hold.

I certainly am happy.

I've been all over the place with the show lately- trying to force myself to ship Emma with anyone but nothing works so I've come to accept that I forever tied to ST!

And as far as the show goes if Emma is happy then I'm happy.

I think that's the best way to look at it. Neal is gone and Emma deserves to be happy, but that doesn't mean that you have to ship it.

Exactly. It's time I stop trying to force myself to ship Emma with someone because it's not gonna happen. Sometimes you feel it with certain characters, other times you don't and not everyone get's the same feeling (it's why we have different ships to start with).

If Emma can be happy then I can be happy in the worlds that I create for ST where Neal isn't gone.

Instead to me he's alive in an AU (just like with One Tree Hill, I never wanted to acknowledge that Lucas and Peyton were no longer living in Tree Hill so in my mind they were always there but never shown)

One thing I like about them is that they were brought together by magic/fate/whatever you, but they fell in love all on their own.

That's what I love most about them too. Fate brought them together but they didn't have to fall in love- it was just something that happened. Neal was running away from magic and Emma could have ended up pregnant with anyone but it was Neal.

I like poetry in who they are- the boy who ran from magic (the reason for the curse) and the girl who knew nothing of magic (the reason for breaking the curse).
