I've always liked the idea of Emma's pendant being a talisman. I think I actually used that idea in my story 'Dear Agony' actually.

And thank you for adding the source. I'm pretty sure the pendant doesn't only work as a reminder of the good times with Neal and how she got burnt by him for her, but as a Talisman as well.

Maybe there is such a significance to it that they'll explore in future? Would be amazing.
