2x17: We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together
March 5, 2013 @ 8:00 p.m.

EPISODE DESCRIPTION:
Zoe (Rachel Bilson) tries to keep her feelings about Wade (Wilson Bethel) under control, causing her to become overly protective when it comes to Rose (guest star McKaley Miller) and her boyfriend. Lavon (Cress Williams) and Wade are forced to work together at the church’s casino fundraiser, but when money goes missing suspicion immediately falls on Wade. Meanwhile, Brick (Tim Matheson) and Shelby’s (guest star Laura Bell Bundy) big decision about their relationship pushes a concerned Lemon (Jaime King) to try and sabotage things with the help of George (Scott Porter.) David Paymer directed the episode written by Jamie Gorenberg.

Well that was a fun little episode (minus the sad parts...)

Zoe and Tansy and Zoe and Lemon bonding time... that was weird- nice, but weird

I'm glad Lavon and Wade made up. Wade needs a friend.

I enjoyed the episode well minus Lavon being a jerk to Wade. Granted he did sort of apologize at the end but it didn't quite seemed to be enough for me. I felt like Lavon shouldn't have been taking sides. I loved all the George/Lemon scenes because I love Crazy Lemon.

And I did enjoy the Tansy/Zoe bar scenes.

I'm not sure why Lilly Allen pops back up so much just to bash Wade. We have to be missing part of that story. And not to mention she seemed sort of pathetic because didn't she try to make a move on Wade knowing he was with Zoe? Just saying.

Lavon seems to do that though- he threw Zoe out in 1x20 when she hurt Wade. He had almost the same conversation with Wade last night as he did with Zoe in 1x21 when she was packing to move to Boston.

The writers are getting a whole lot of mileage out of the S1 dialogue- I'm starting to wonder if it's to show that things are running the same course (just different faces) or they are just a bit unimaginative.

I'm going with the first one (for now.)

I loved last night episode.

Sad Zoe was nice, cause we finally see how much she cares about Wade.

Loved Tansy and Zoe scenes, especially two quotes "look at you, you're not sad, how could I be like that? i would do anything" "it just takes time" "no, no, I mean now" lol: and "Someone like George Tucker, and I mean LIKE George Tucker, not George Tucker himself" lol:

Lemon and George scenes, finally! I miss them so much and they're always hilarous together. I like how Lemon always brings the altar thing back

Lavon and Wade ALONE, there was a big lack of them this season. Lavon pissed me off but I'm glad he apologized, he's like a guy mad at his little brother. Lavon understood he didn't hurt just Zoe, he hurt himself, and Wade opening his heart ...

Lemon and Zoe need more scenes together. I think they are becoming similar with their past experiences. Loved the "George left you at the altar" "Wade cheated on you"

Jonah and Zoe kiss was a troll. Oooooooooh!! That's tooooooo baaaaaad

Zade scenes were perfect for a post-breakup. The awkwardness in the kitchen scene, I felt bad like I was with them

The "I hate you" scene showed how much Zoe was hurt but I liked the end when she gave his stuff back

saying she doesn't hate him.

The last scene gave me hope for a reunion but not for a "Wade didn't cheat on her"

Lily Anne was my last hope but she cleary wasn't there for that, and by the way, why was she around?

I think LA was just there for the songs, which were kind of hilarious imo!

I'm was actually humming "Run from Wade" today! What's wrong with me? If I ever saw Wade I wouldn't run. Or if I did, it would be to run after him

I also loved the "Why doesn't he ever wear a shirt" and Zoe's "yeah, why doesn't he ever wear a shirt! lol

LA was there for the songs (comedic relief) and also to show what holding on to anger does. She never moved on. Tansy did.

Very good point. Zoe could have stayed angry and ended up like LA or she could try and move on and not let the hate get to her and end up like Tansy.

I think I was just annoyed that they had LA commiserating with Zoe about Wade. I was like didn't you just try to make a move on her boyfriend a few episodes ago. It annoyed me.

I get that- and agree. But she hates him so much because she still has feelings I guess.

She never let him go.
