I agree about all the things and all the reasons. I really think a MOTY for Wade could be so awesome, but I'm not expecting it. His darkness during that made me only like him more though... I loved the song he made up for George.

Yeah, I mentioned that the other day - I thought that was something we'd see on screen every now & then too.
But I'm not really sure what state Earl is in since Christmas, that ep seemed to heal him a bit, so I wonder if Wade still needs to  __________________

We don't need to see that again. If they showed that too much it wouldn't be special anymore. Though it would be good if they made a reference to it.

I agree. I think seeing it once was enough. It was such a special moment - finally Zoe saw something below the surface about Wade.
Besides, Earl's too busy with the flash mobs these days. __________________

I do want to see Wade sing again though. In the original pilot, Wade sang a song to Zoe, so we def need to see that happen at some point!

Re: the singing in the pilot - I never read the script so how was that supposed to play out? Was he just teasing her and trying to embarrass her? I'm having a hard time picturing any scenario of the Wade in the pilot singing a song to her.
ITA on Earl and Zoe's mom. Earl especially could be really good for his son right now and/or to give Zoe some perspective on Wade. __________________

I can't really remember the rest of it, but it wasn't really a pilot, because it was shorter, just something to give the execs while they prepare the pilot. It had her yelling at him about fusebox & I think they made out later, but I can't remember how the rest of it played out. It was posted here though, I'm sure someone still has the link
