I only brought up the fact of not wanting to sway the direction of the show because I know that some do, and it is also used as a criticism against fanbases.

I post online. I talk about the show....alot. I consider it feedback. I also try to put thought into my posts and comment beyond ZW. Now if anyone cares to read it that is up to them. LOL I don't just get online and threaten to stop watching because the couple I like isn't together or I'm not getting the story I want. Chances are I'd just stop watching. Now I did say on FB that I didn't like the direction of the cheating storyline. And if it is used to throw a character under the bus then I won't be a happy viewer at all. I will wait to see how it is played out though. Although I still won't like it.

I think for me, because I study literature, it's instinct for me to pulls stories about & analyze them to death

I'm the weirdo in my family. I rewatch and analyze and try to pay attention to details. My parents are like "Why would you watch it twice?"

I would probably just stop watching, too, if I wasn't happy with the show. Just like I have no energy to read and/or discuss the other side too much because it bores me, I wouldn't want to put too much energy into something that didn't work for me. I'd provide feedback, maybe, but I wouldn't make it all about how I'm going to stop watching. Sometimes I think that can take away from your point and keep you from being heard. It sounds like "Well if you don't give me what I want, then I'm done" even if that's not what you're saying or mean.

I don't read about it except to get a general idea of why they may appeal to some. I do talk about them, but not in great detail. Although I also talk about the other characters and other relationship dynamics. Again I like the whole show beyond just WZ. It is just for me WZ is the biggest draw. Without them then I'd probably still not be online talking about the show.

They should though. We've provided them with a lot of interesting feedback.

They'd just have to skim through, but I think they'd get the message that we don't like the cheating storyline

I actually think they do. This is one of the places with the most HoD fans. There aren't many sites where people post about HoD. So it is easier to get feedback. They also check the FB page too. A lot of what was said about some of the relationsips is stuff that has been posted at FF and other places online.

I'm sure they have CW people hired to look on the internet & get feedback on the show, but I'm sure that some of the other people involved must get curious & look too

The creator of OTH actually used to post on the OTH board.

Yes it is. That is why I try to put thought into anything I post online. I figure if they read it they may pay attention to that stuff instead of "Wade is so hot".
