If S4 wasn't the last season, I think they would have spent up until maybe midseason of S4 of Zoe's antics to get Wade back and then possibly work towards getting fully back together for the rest of the season. I think the main reason we got a marriage and baby in S4 was because it was the last. So I think whatever season would have been the last we would have gotten the same type series finale with maybe the exception of the baby most likely.

Yeah, that is why I think if we had a full 22 episodes, the series finale would have most likely stayed pretty similar, but everything in between would have been expanded to spread out in more episodes.

yeah, it definitely would have! It would have made it so their relationship didn't feel rushed. At least they would have gotten together in a more reasonable amount of time.

Yeah, I agree because as fast as we saw George and AB get together, Lemon and Lavon's reunion seemed just as fast.

Yeah, it happened way too fast. Even with LL reunion, if they always thought that they were going to be endgame. Why not ease into it a little bit instead of literally still being on the AB/Lavon boat up until the beginning of 3x22.

Unless they thought they would have more time to go with the entire AB/Lavon/Lemon triangle, but then they only had 10 episodes. But if that was the case, they should have just scrapped the entire thing.

Definitely, but even when they did remove the George & Annabeth obstacles, they didn't exactly handle LL well...
