Yeah, it definitely seemed very obvious to me that they moved on completely from each other.

Yeah, exactly!! Even when there was that scene when Lemon saw AB/Lavon dancing, the way she looked at them was simply happiness for the both of them. No jealousy, no longing or anything like that. It was definitely extremely different with ZW because there was jealousy and longing looks all the time. It never went away.

Yeah, that look for me indicated that Lemon was really letting Lavon go and was happy that he & AB were going to be happy together

Yeah, it should have! It just seemed very unnatural to bring their relationship back again because there was really no indication that they still loved each other yet when they realized it, it was almost as if they always knew they were the love of each other's lives.

Yeah, when they brought them back together, they then tried to rewrite history as if 'it had always been there' & they had always been longing for each other, & I'm like... show me when that happened?! Because it certainly wasn't onscreen.

If they had gone about bringing them back in a different way, I might have been more on board with them, but they destroyed a better ship to make it happen, made both characters act incredibly selfish, rewrote the history of the show to try & prove the amazing connection that they supposedly had, & then pretty much all their conversations once they were a couple was about what a great couple they were... like the writers knew that they had nothing else to talk about & no other way to show (not tell) how supposedly great they were

Yeah, I agree. If they really wanted them to be the "the love was always there" couple, they should have written them differently. Just because Lavon told Lemon way back when that "even if she ignores her feelings, that it didn't mean it doesn't exist", does NOT mean that they are a true love couple. Because if we are still comparing LL to ZW, Zoe ignored her feelings too but it was clear that the feelings were there despite what she said. With LL there were some moments in S2 when it did seem like they still had feelings for each other, but there was no proof after AB/Lavon got together. They clearly moved on from each other and they were even able to maintain a friendship after that.
