Yeah it really did. Lavon and Wade were the two pain people who really helped Zoe come to the realization that taking risks was okay.

Exactly. That is why I think she had a hard time with risks after things weren't working out with Wade because he played a big part in getting her to step out of her comfort zone in the first place. I honestly don't think Lavon would have been very successful if he tried to get her to continue.

Yeah, exactly. And then when Jonah tried to get her to be spontaneous, she seemed very fearful because the last time she was really spontaneous was when she was with Wade, so she went back to her comfort zone.

Exactly. And she also ended up being cheated on after Lavon gave her that talk about the margin of error when she thought that reverend mayfair was cheating on his wife.

I can understand it though, I think a lot of people would want to go back to something that feels safe after getting cheated on

Yeah, I completely understand it. Especially for Zoe. Because she was always so sure that any relationship was going to end in cheating. And then when it happened to her, it didn't go well for her. Especially taking so many risks to begin with being with Wade.
