Lavon really helped her attempt to fit in with the town and not be an outsider because the more she took part in town events, the more the town would see that she was more than just a random New Yorker who decided to move to Bluebell.
I really love that scene between Lavon/Zoe. Lavon really gave some awesome speeches to Zoe in S1. Zoe never saw herself as taking risks, but she took the biggest risk of all by moving there. And also, in the end, she did truly let herself go and fly the second she started a relationship with Wade. She took so many risks with him. __________________
