Nadal against Verdasco. It was such a dramatic match because it ended with a tie break that seemed never ending because of the amount of errors from both of them!!

I *love* verdasco and I have been waiting for him to return to great form and for two sets he played brilliantly. Nadal played horribly. Verdasco just gets nervous during the big points, and Nadal squeezed through.

And its silly but I'm still disappointed.

It's not silly! It sounds like it was a pretty intense match. It's hard to play against Nadal, he has tons of experience at big tournaments, and it must feel really pressuring playing against him. Too bad for Verdasco, I'll take him any day before Nadal

Thanks for your support Caro! All three sets were tie breaks so that's how close it was! I do like Nadal but on this occasion, I was crushed when Verdasco lost especially now, nadal has beaten him 12 times and this was so close.

How do you guys feel about having a Hotseat thread as a game thread? Its on a lot of the other boards and gives us a chance to get to know all of us.

It is, but I'm getting used to it. And because I work in a law firm it helps me a lot with the subject I'm taking.

Janet how was your day?

It was pretty cool. I went to one of my favourite areas on Montreal and shopped a bit. I found a bubble bar and shampoo from Lush, and I bought some vegan marshmallows and gum from a little store. Other than that it was a nice, quiet day in.

Also, I fully support the idea of a hot seat thread if it hasn't been started already.

Lindz I'm still upset Fernando played the best I've seen (aside from the final tie) and it looks like he's got his fire back which I'm happy about. I have a feeling though that Rafa won't last until the final.
