I think they'll eventually get back together... But this is Haley's senior year, she's thinking about college, she should too explore what's out there. And Dylan didn't seem very hurt for leaving Haley behind when he stayed at the dude ranch

Maybe now that Dylan's far away, Haley can keep her options open and go to college? That would be a great twist and then have Dylan come back and see how much Haley's changed.

Yes I too think it would be great to see dylan growing up at the ranch to see if he's found out his calling and if haley will go to college.

It would probably make Dylan more mature to stay in Wyoming but who knows, maybe he'll still be the Dylan that we always love? They definitely left an opening for these two so there's something to look forward to.

I really wanted dylan to carry on with his band though, I wouldn't be happy knowing he left all that behind and decided he wanted to work at the dude ranch but we'll see where it goes.

I sometimes wonder what they think when Dylan has an inspiration and writes a song for Haley. Instead of probably going, "Dude, that sucks!", they're probably encouraging him.
