Claire & Alex are pretty much the same wavelength when it comes to Dylan. Luke probably doesn't care.

Alex always makes fun of Dylan though she never interacts with him but even haley mentions how childish he is yet she always returns to him. Luke doesn't care because he just wants to be a child anyway

I think that it depend on how much common that they have together, but if not then they probably feel weary about them or something like that..

In my experience, if you are really close with your sibling, its always hard but if you already get along with that partner then its okay

I agree with you both. Also, it's realistic for parents not to be supportive of a bf. Perhaps just one but never both (or it's rare). So I'm looking forward to seeing Dylan always trying to win Claire over.

I think they should invite dylan for a family dinner and if claire got to know dylan, she might like him better.

What happens is Haley tends to be the one who always invites Dylan. Maybe Phil can invite him over (without Claire' consent of course) and he'll just have to deal with how Claire will react later.
