I don't remember if it was said in the books... I think they were kind of vague about but I assumed there were... young but not still in high school.
That's a whole lot of teen pregnancies, no? Even in the 90s, somebody had to notice, right? __________________

Yeah I don't remember either, but I thought they were over 18... I mean half of the teens in town getting kncoked up at 16 might have caused a bit of a suspicion I imagined. And they all got married too... who gets married at 16 unless you're in a cult or something.

Exactly. On the one hand, you have this small town where everybody knows everybody and every outsider is immediately noticed but no one cares about half a dozen teen pregnancies? That was one of the things in the books (right next to this Club thing with the seperate dining room) that bugged me most.
I wonder if they are going to do that in the show as well. __________________

Maybe they were just too scared to notice or say anything about it? Maybe they were afraid what would happen to them if they spoke up about it?
Oh the separate dining room thing? That was so weird. |

Yeah, it was like... they are this secret club that nobody gets to join and we won't ask questions or doubt it or whatever. It seemed so odd to me.
You're probably right. People probably knew that these guys were trouble but didn't dare say anything. __________________

I know, right? I wasn't like they actually did something to scare people off. It seemed more along the lines of "It's always been this way but we don't know why".

History repeats itself... with these guys probably more than with everybody else.

I was going to go with this one from the interview...
I think that he’s kind of the thug and she’s kind of the capo… would that be a ‘capa’? __________________

Setting the new thread up now...
Capo means "heaad" in Italian and it usually refers to the head of an organisation... like the mafia. The one who pulls the strings... new thread: http://www.fanforum.com/f368/evil-sc...0%99-63009143/ __________________
