If the premiere is today, it wouldn't have taken place yet, I'm assuming. Yeah...looking at the website, the screening is taking place 6pm Toronto time so it's around 2 hours away.

I'll miss him too.. Since one the first dvd there was a casting cesare, I really hope they make a casting david on this one. But on the s3 I want a casting lucrezia haha

Any pictures from that premiere? I haven't looked. Somehow looking for pictures makes me so weary these days. Okay, okay I looked and I must say for once I totally agree with Holliday's look - beautiful dress, beautiful make up and she doesn't look too thin. Bravo, Holliday!

He gave some really interesting insights into the works of an international production. But what is probably most interesting – at least in the context of this thread – he said that in the final casting round for Lucrezia, they had Isolda and an English actress but Isolda was clearly perfect for the role. Since I'm watching so many British productions, I'm kind of wondering now who that actress was... just to imagine it, I guess. Like we imagined Christina Ricci (as NJ had originally planned) in Holliday's place and it really doesn't work (well at least for me it doesn't).  Source: diananagler.com __________________
