Billie is way too old for this now and I'm sure we would have heard anything had she auditioned. My initial thought was Jemima Kirke (who I like fine) or Imogen Poots maybe but I've never been a fan of the latter. In any case I'm glad they made the right choice, Isolda is too perfect. I would like Jemima in a guest role though (regardless if she was even in the running), I think she is cool. __________________

I think I posted those at some point but it showcases my favourite thing about the wardrobe very beautifully: the hairnets. I'm about crochet one myself (albeit more 1930s style). Althought the intricate braids of season 2 grew on me the tiny hairnets which looked like a pillowbox hat at the back of the head... I just liked the above a lot better.

Some of Holliday's hairstyles have been incredibly intricate havent they, especially the weaves with the pearls, I must try find a pic. I do love the hairnets too. Wonder how long the ladies have to sit in makeup and hairstyling in every episode. The men have it so much easier!

I mean it was pretty obvious that those were wigs. The thing I liked a bit better in S2 as opposed to S1 was that the hair colour appeared more natural. Otherwise I prefer the S1 hairstyle.

Finally! A better wardrobe for Borgia! I think that was lacking the first season.

I think there were a few beautiful dresses last season. Like the gold gown Lucrezia wore for her first engagement. Generally though I think that the poor lighting obstructed the view quite often. So I'm all for more and better visibility.

You're double-posting a lot of these pics, Arinna.
