Was Anna going to Dane at the end? We'll never know, so I choose to believe that she did or I will really hate her for using him. He was a sweetheart & told her he was falling in love, asked her if she felt there was something special there & she said yes, so wtf?? She felt pressured by his exuberance, but a guy who's honest about his feelings is better than one who withholds & nothing justified hurting him like she did. She was dishonest & cruel. I wanted to slap her so hard when she yelled "I was just ******* you!" OMG she devastated him. One of my favorite lines was when Will asked Anna if Dane was better in bed. She refused to say he was better (he was), cause she didn't want to hurt him, so she said he was just different. Will pushes asking different how? And Anna says "He wasn't careful with me..which is what you.." She doesn't finish the thought, but I think every woman understands exactly what she meant & why Dane was more exciting

I don't think Anna would go to Dane, at least not in the short term. She says something about needing to learn who she was and she wouldn't get that jumping straight into a new relationship. She needs space to grow. What scared her off Dane was that he wanted a proper relationship and she was tempted.

In my version, she would find Dane and be honest about what had been going on. That might open up the possibility of remaining friends and taking it further at a later stage.

It's ironic that Anna should be so keen that the gallery guy should be open with his wife and yet she was so dishonest with Dane.

It takes me back to the end of a relationship with a nice man where we could finish each other's sentences and could easily have drifted into marriage. I would always have been wondering what I was missing if we'd done that.
