You probably would've felt like you missed out. Comfortable relationships are tempting, but better suited for friendship unless a passionless marriage is acceptable.

I thought exactly the same about her insisting gallery guy tell his wife. She was a hypocrite.
She was dishonest & mean in leading Dane on & then yelling that he was nothing more to her than a ****boy. Wow
The movie made it seem ok for Anna to be a ***** to him, cause she was a feminist & it was empowering, right? No! It's trendy now for women to have a double standard where guys are treated like crap, but women are supposed to be treated like princesses. It just fuels the war between the sexes.
It ruined Anna's character for me. Every bit of empathy & connection I had for her was gone after that. Dane gave her the chance to come clean when he asked if she had a kid. He said it's ok whatever it is, he just needed to know. He was honest about what he wanted & not afraid to be vulnerable, telling her he always feared he'd never see her again, cause things would be perfect, then she'd vanish with no explanation.
