I get pretty irked by the writing in parts of Borgia, this is one of my biggest issues, how Cesare and Lucrezia have almost no screen time together and no obvious chemistry but end up doing that. Its like it was shoved in as a last minute rewrite tbh.

Yeah, we felt the same way, Roon. there's nothing leading up to Cesare and Lucrezia's kiss in Borgia and it just seems like it comes out of nowhere, and not slowly built up. I suppose they'll explain this later.
Night, Arinna! I have to go too. Night, Roon! Sweet dreams! __________________

Maybe they will in season 2? I don't know if we're gonna have enough Cesare/Lucrezia's scenes in both season 2 in Borgia and season 3 in The Borgias though.

Well we'd better get them in The Borgias, since Jordan has teased us enough. Fontana barely has Cesare and Lucrezia interacting. Ironically, Ryder and Dychauk actually act more like siblings than Arnaud and Grainger, who act more like lovers.

I've read an interview with Francois.. He said that they chose to play it in that way. Like the impossible love and the impossible lovers.

Awwww, so Francois admits that there's something between Cesare and Lucrezia that isn't quite brother/sister? Dexter and Deb are doing the same thing.

No, I think he meant that he and Holly just decided to play it in that way.

So Francois and Holly admit that Cesare and Lucrezia are better played with lots of sexual tension? I wonder why?

They're playing them as the impossible lovers.

Yeah, even though they know they're siblings, Francois and Holliday are still playing them as impossible lovers, which means they secretly ship Cesare/Lucrezia.

Or maybe that's the way of Neil Jordan to tease us even more if that's possible.

He'd better back it up if he's gonna tease us this much.

Something tells me that the kiss we've got between them is all we're gonna get.
