It would be nice to see Tyrion taking some action again. A possibly unpopular opinion, but I feel like all the characters that switch over to Dany's side become really lackluster.
Which is a shame because Peter is such a wonderful actor. During the loot train attack, Peter watching the battle was as riveting as the battle itself, IMO. And I could watch a whole episode, or possibly a whole series of Tyrion and Varys talking. __________________

I don't usually think that, but with Tyrion that's what happened... He was so interesting and smart, and every since he joined Daenerys his ideas and plans all fail and then he doesn't even have that snarky come back to Daenerys insulting.

It's not a completely off characterization. In the last published book, Tyrion is pretty lackluster. I didn't read "A Dance with Dragons". But that was a pretty common complaint about him.
I was reading an article about how the show has dumbed down and sidelined the smarter characters, Tyrion being the prime example. I didn't agree with all of it, but it had some good points. I'll wait and see how the final 3 episodes turn out before I judge too harshly. But based on what's aired so far, I'm not hopeful. __________________
